About the Farmer

Aloha, my name is Keinan Kawaihalau-Alejo, and I'm the owner, farmer, and lei maker behind this business. At 24 years old, I am proud to be of Native Hawaiian descent and deeply connected to the land, culture, and traditions that inspire my work every day.

My passion for horticulture and agriculture began at a young age and has grown into a lifelong pursuit. What started as a hobby has become a meaningful way for me to connect with my culture and community. Through growing flowers, crafting lei, and creating bouquets, I am able to combine farming with artistic expression, sharing the beauty of Hawaiʻi one flower at a time.

Every flower is grown with care, and every lei is made by hand. I take pride in cultivating my flowers without the use of synthetic fertilizers or pesticides, allowing the natural beauty of each bloom to shine through. Whether it's a lei to celebrate a milestone, a bouquet for a loved one, or flowers simply meant to brighten someone's day, my goal is to create pieces that carry meaning, connection, and aloha.

Mahalo for supporting local agriculture and allowing me to share my passion with you.

Who we are

*Our farm is marked within the golden lines.

Ke Ola o Nā Pua means The Life of the Flowers. Our half-acre flower farm on the North Shore of Kauaʻi was created to honor the living spirit of the land and the blooms it brings forth. “Ola” speaks to life, vitality, and well-being — and that is the heart of everything we grow.

Rooted in aloha, we cultivate flowers not only for their beauty, but for the connection they create. Through bouquets, lei, and shared moments in the community, our flowers are meant to carry joy, gratitude, and love from our hands to yours.

This is more than a flower farm. It is a practice of caring for the land, nurturing life, and sharing its abundance.
